The exposed chrome thermostatic brass straight-way valve is a modern bathroom product. It is a thermostatic shower, which can prevent the water temperature from changing when the shower is working, so it is very suitable for use in the family bathroom, because it can protect children and the elderly from scalding or Sudden cold.
The thermostatic shower valve works by mixing hot and cold water to the temperature set using the knob on the valve. Inside the valve is a heat-sensitive element that can control the hot and cold water inlets and respond to external influences, such as flushing in the toilet or using a washing machine to keep the water temperature constant.
Work requirements:
In order for the shower to work effectively, your water system will need to generate a pressure of at least 0.5 bar, although we recommend 1.0 bar for best performance.
