This cross fits into the actuator within the door and signals the vehicle to unlock the door when turned. C = Spring - This gives tension to the lock when turned and allows the lock to return to the center position. D = U-Shaped Middle Plate - This section joins the lock mechanism to the spring and shaft. Two slightly different pieces are provided (driver-D1, passenger-D2). THIS PIECE IS THE MOST COMMON TO FAIL E = Base plate - This is the bottom piece that functions to keep all the components in place.
