Locate the main tool body (with the brace attached) to one side of the piston, over the pin hole, in the direction in which you want the pin to travel. Once inserted, screw the pulling pin into the inside of the main tool body using an hex key. Turn the main bolt in the tool body so that it moves away from the piston, thereby pulling the gudgeon pin with it.
